General
- • To join our program, you will need to be a graduate of a nursing institute and have a work license permit as a nurse in the UAE or KSA.
- • The maximum age at the start of the program is 40 years.
- • Your care manager will guide you and work closely with you to get all your required documents visa ready.
- The minimum required level is B1. In our experience, candidates that do not complete B2 have significant difficulties in adapting to life in Germany and often end up returning home.
Visa
- We will support completely in your visa process. In the first few weeks in your German language education, the operations team will collect all required documents from you and apply in parallel to your language program. It usually takes 3-4 months from the time of application. By the time you have passed the B1 certificate examination, all your documents will be ready for the visa application.
- Once you have graduated A2, we will provide you a shortlist of companies you can choose to interview with. These companies are all vetted extensively for the care and support they provide incoming nurses. You will receive the offer before passing the B1 exam.
- We handle all necessary translations for you through one of our official translators who are accepted by the court in Germany. This will shorten the time of your application process and will optimize cost at the same time.
Moving to Germany
- You will arrive in Germany 2 weeks before the start of your course. You will be personally welcomed by our care team on arrival. They will orient you in your initial phase of settling in Germany.
- We will arrange the flight ticket for you.
- Yes. Accommodation is typically in a shared apartment between 2 nurses where every nurse having a separate room. The maximum number allowed per apartment is 3 in a three-bedroom apartment.
- You will be placed in an adaptation course with a duration up to 10 months divided into a theoretical part (4 months) conducted in a nursing school and a practical part (up to 6 months) conducted in a hospital. The program itself is free of charge.
- Based on our experience, nurses who have passed the B2 level before arrival in Germany typically progress very well in the adaptation program. In any case, you have to pass the B2 level before you are awarded the license at the end of the adaptation program.
Life as a nurse in Germany
- Your salary during the adaptation program (2,065€ gross will start from the first day in the adaptation course. The average cost of living is around 800€ including accommodation, transportation, and other living expenses.
- In Germany nurses work on average 38.5 hours per week. Overtime is strictly monitored.
